This stunning traditional cottage is a Grade II listed building in the heart of Little Walsingham, a historic village famous as a place of religious pilgrimage. Explore medieval sites before setting off with your dog in tow, enjoying walks across field and beach in this delightful area on the atmospheric North Norfolk coast.

The cottage sits in a village lane and has a pretty, chocolate box facade. Step in and discover a balance of old and new with quirky period features. In the lounge, relax in front of the feature fireplace with its cosy wood burner. The kitchen is a bright and sociable space, perfect for keeping the chef company. Head upstairs and you’ll find two restful and romantic double bedrooms - ideal for two couples. And outside, the highlights of this sweet property continue. French doors in the kitchen lead out to a lush, sloping lawn, with patio furniture so you can watch your dog chasing their own tail in comfort.

The best bit of this location is your proximity to the astounding history of Walsingham. The famous National Shrine is only metres from your door, and so you can step into its peaceful atmosphere every morning if you wish to. There’s plenty more to explore in the area, including the vibrant shopping neighbourhood of Burnham Market, 8 miles away, or the sandy beach at Wells-next-the-Sea, 6 miles to the north. Your dog will not be able to get enough of all the walks and treks and sandy strolls along this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Hope Cottage felt like home from the moment we arrived. It is in a great location - we parked in the nearby carpark after unloading which is very close and reasonably priced for longer stays. We had a lovely night at VinedMe with oysters and mixed platter. Recommend this and The Bull pub where we had delicious curries during our stay! Two miRead morenutes from cottage and dog friendly!! The Shrine and Abbey are so close and you are 14 minute drive feom the beach at Wells. Our dog loved chilling in the enclosed garden!! Hide

An exceptional comfortable cottage with a brilliant location in the centre of the. village.. It has a sun-drenched garden which is perfect for sitting or eating in. Within minutes of the Cartagena are amenities- a farm shop, a general village stores two pubs and superb wine bar .

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful, historic village within easy reach of some of the best beaches in Norfolk. The cottage was very well equipped and the communication from the owner before arrival was excellent, making key pick-up and parking very straightforward. Parking can be tricky at busy times. Beautifully appointed cottage with great character. Excellently furnished and equipped and gives a real welcome to the area. Good heating system and oceans of hot water. Delightful to stay there.

I loved this cottage. In the fabulous village of Walsingham. Paid for weekly parking which meant I didn't have to get up to move the car. Beautiful enclosed garden. Everything we needed for a great holiday.

The cottage is in a very good location to visit the many wonderful places in North Norfolk e.g. Holt, Sheringham Park etc. It is very well equipped. The small enclosed garden is great for the dog.
