Set tails wagging in this lovely little holiday cottage. Situated in the charming village of Briston, this is the perfect location for a small family to spend time together and explore the beautiful Norfolk coast. There’s even space for the dog, so pack Fido’s ball and your bag for a lovely trip.

As you enter the cottage, you’ll find a kitchen/diner and a lounge with a wood burner. The lounge also has wooden floors, so listen out for the sound of your dog’s paws tippy tapping across them. This homely room is the perfect place to read, watch films or play games with your loved ones as Fido snoozes after a long walk. Upstairs, you’ll find two bedrooms, one king-size and a single trundle (which can be made into a twin on request). Both receive plenty of natural light and are great places to get some rest. There isn’t a garden with this property, but you will find a park around 200 metres away, ideal for evening walks.

Briston is a small village with a few shops and other amenities. For a slightly larger hub, try Holt, 4.5 miles away, or visit the quirky and ancient city of Norwich, 20 miles from the property. There are lots of places to explore, including dog-friendly Weybourne Beach and Salthouse Beach. They’re both 8.5 miles away and you can walk from one to the other along the Norfolk Coast Path. It’s about 1.5 miles, with incredible views and the opportunity to see lots of wildlife, including seals. While you’re in Weybourne, you could stop for a pub lunch in one of the dog-friendly eateries, so you can refuel before returning for a paddle.

Lovely cottage - ideal for a couple or with a child. The only real downside we found was the communal garden as three properties used ir and we didnt like to intrude on their children and dogs!

What a wonderful place to stay! The property is decorated in a stylish yet homely way, decked out fully in the kitchen and with games and books galore. While we weren't staying with children, the additions of kids DVDs and steps in the bathroom showed how the owners had thought about how people would use the property. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, comfortable, and perfectly clean cottage. It had everything we needed to enjoy our trip to North Norfolk. The deli shop is very handy too with a good range of fresh fruit and veggies available and friendly staff. Great property in a lovely village with some very useful shops (Co-op open till 10, excellent butcher selling local meat and a linked deli-bakery.) Cottage opens direct to the road which can be a bit noisy as the road seems to be used as a regular through route. But we got used to that.
