This property is 3 miles from the seaside town of Whitstable, famous for its oysters, so take an evening to sample some local seafood. Whitstable also has pubs, cafes and shops to explore, and a castle with gardens. The castle (3.5 miles) has seasonal events, is dog friendly and would make a perfect afternoon trip. If you’re keen to take advantage of the coastal locale, you’ll find places to hire water sports equipment. Finally, visit the Oare Gunpowder Works Country Park (7 miles), which is a great spot for walking dogs and seeing wildlife.
