Convenient location and very quiet site. If you want to eat out only one pub near and you have to book in advance when busy to ensure you get a table.

A clean and comfortable chalet on a quiet site. Ideal for the two of us with our small dog. Even spotted a small deer passing the chalet one morning. Nearby shop and pub perfect for food supplies. Excellent bus services.

Very disappointed on arrival. Photos on website very deceiving. Patio area was a mess, having old furniture, cracked pots and instead of a beautifully planted bank it was a dirt mound. Window frames were covered in dirt and cobwebs, god knows the last time they were cleaned. The ceiling light mount in one bedroom was hanging off. Parking space was Read morevery confusing, despite area opposite have a sign stating parking for No: 5 we were continuously told by other angry tenants to park elsewhere. Hide

The property is in a great location with the excellent Ship pub and village shop/coffee shop at easy walking distance. The lodge is reasonably priced and perfectly adequate for a basic short break.

Not whar we were expecting ...very old and tired. The photos on the website do not reflect what you find when you open the temperamental front door lock. Take some kettle descaler...you are going to need it !! The one positive is the location. Lovely site and close to all the places we wanted to visit
