Return after your days out to enjoy the enclosed garden where you can throw a ball for Rex on the lawn.
Let your pup pad into the cottage and head straight through to the lounge to stretch out after his busy day exploring. Light the wood burner in here on chilly days and spend an hour or two with him before wandering through to the kitchen/diner. Feed your famished furry friend in here and prepare dinner for everyone else too then dine at the table inside or serve up in the sunshine of the garden. The two bedrooms, a king-size, and a single with an extra pull-out single bed that can be made up upon request, are upstairs on the first floor, together with the family bathroom. There is an enclosed courtyard with a table tennis table, and access to a utility room where you can whiz Rex’s towels through the washing machine and tumble dryer, and a gate through to the pretty garden. Pack a picnic, some dog treats and your beach gear and venture 3 miles to Corton, where your pal can join you on the sand and on the wide, grassy area all year round. Inland, find walks beside the River Waveney and at Carlton Marshes, 3 miles away, where there is one trail through the nature reserve where dogs are allowed off their leads.
