This spacious holiday home is ideally suited for families and couples looking to enjoy a seaside break; being close to the secluded Botany Bay, this is the perfect beach retreat. Perfect for special gatherings and getaways, this elegant and welcoming property is less than a mile from the sandy, dog-friendly beach at Kingsgate Bay and 2 miles from Broadstairs, the timeless, family-friendly resort which boasts an array of independent shops, pubs and places to eat. After a day’s adventures, enjoy the evening sun on the patio with your canine companion.

Victorian grandeur and modern amenities mingle in this impressive property, decorated in heritage paint colours and retaining many original features. From the bright hallway (with room for depositing shoes, coats and leads) you’ll come to the spacious lounge – a comfortable room in which to curl up with your loved ones and a furry friend. The beautifully fitted, Shaker-style kitchen boasts an electric range cooker that keen cooks will love to try, and you can serve hearty meals in the generously sized dining room. There’s also a handy WC on this floor. More elegant paintwork is evident in the bedrooms on the first floor – a king-size, a double and a bunk-bed room, all of which share the handsome family bathroom. Outside, the enclosed garden is a sun trap for most of the day, and has both a lawn – where your furry friend can chase his tail – and a large patio with dining furniture and a charcoal BBQ.

Pick up the coast path at the end of the road, and enjoy fabulous sea views as you walk to Kingsgate Bay, with its year-round, dog-friendly beach, then on to the secluded Dumpton Gap beach, 3.5 miles, another favourite for walkies, fetching and generally stretching paws on the sand. On the way you’ll want to stop for a sweet treat at the famous, 1950s-style Morelli’s Gelato in Broadstairs (2 miles), where canine companions are welcome and the views of Viking Bay are gorgeous.

This period house was beautifully decorated with period furniture. It had everything we needed for our adult children and grandchildren. Ten minute walk to a sandy beach cove and pubs that do food. Would recommend it and hope to stay again in the future.

Absolutely stunning accommodation. Beautifully decorated and maintained. Easy access to a small cafe just a few steps up the road, and the hotel with restaurant at the bottom of the road. Both dog friendly. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend.
