Nestled at the end of a peaceful lane and surrounded by countryside, you’ll feel worlds away from everyday life at this grand converted farmhouse. Set over three floors, the property has ample space for the whole family to enjoy -- including up to two four-legged members! Explore the sandy beaches and scenic walks nearby before heading back to relax in one of the two spacious lounges, firing up the wood burner on a cold, cosy night.

Step through the stable door and into a boot room -- a great spot for kicking off muddy shoes and wiping any soggy paws. There’s even an outdoor shower in the courtyard for anyone really mucky! The stunning open-plan kitchen/diner runs the entire width of the property, with electric skylight windows and a limestone floor creating a light and airy place to socialise and dine. As well as the two inviting lounges, the former entrance hall has been redesigned to offer another room in which to relax; for evening drinks. The five bedrooms are set on the first and second floors, each offering a comfortable place to lay your head at the end of a thrilling day. Wake up to country views and enjoy your morning coffee alfresco within the impressive two acres of grounds, which includes a spacious lawn and a fantastic courtyard seating area. Please note that there is a pond and a stream in the garden, so dogs should be kept on their leads for safety and children should be carefully supervised.

Visit the famous Norfolk Broads (15 miles) and navigate the waterways by foot or by boat. For dogs and their human companions who enjoy frolicking in the waves, head to one of the nearby beaches: Cromer (9 miles), Trimingham (7 miles), and East Runton (10 miles).

We enjoyed our stay - 3 generations, and it worked so well for us. The owners had so obviously thought through what would be needed/wanted for a very comfortable (and luxurious) stay!

Home farm house well situated for visiting Norfolk especially the nearby The Gunton Arms where you can sit and have a drink and watch the herds of deer roam the park. The house itself is lovely well set out with plenty of room. It is well equipped with a lovely huge garden. Comfortable seating areas and beds.

If you want a holiday in a superior home, full of history and modern craftsmanship, this is for you. There are plenty of rooms to hide away from others if needed, and the kitchen is fabulous. The gardens are lovely as well. My one recommendation, if you want more than one pillow per person, do bring your own, we couldn't find any extras. Our familyRead more had a lovely holiday and would return in a heartbeat. Hide

The house is beautiful, had everything and more! The grounds are stunning. The kitchen is large enough for all of us to be in there without it feeling over crowded. I loved the fact it had separate livingroom/sitting rooms, we could do separate things in them and yet feel altogether. Plenty of space in bedrooms and bathrooms. Stunning views from thRead moree windows too! Outside grounds were spectacular, great for children to run around and family gathering. Perfect place for a long awaited get together! Hide
