Head to the coast and lay down your anchor in Whitstable, an iconic seaside town that’s famous for its friendly nature and delicious shellfish. Fido’s nose will be set sniffing by the fresh sea air, fabulous seafood and array of restaurants on offer along the seafront, and if you time your visit with the annual oyster festival you are in for a treat. Pretty and inviting with stylish decor and comfortable nooks for relaxing in style, your abode sleeps three and has the added bonus of a safely enclosed garden for summer BBQ suppers.

Couples and small families alike will feel relaxed from the moment you step inside, dusting off Rover’s sandy coat and uncorking a bottle of wine to enjoy on the sofas. The galley-style kitchen has a staggering amount of gadgets, crockery and tasteful accessories for mealtimes, or head outside into the garden. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one of which features a handy trundle bed that’s ideal for children, and the bathroom is just the ticket for washing muddy paws. Perch on the balcony and soak up the sea views, and scamper into town when you would like a night off from cooking.

Whether you are an adrenaline enthusiast at heart or prefer soaking up the sun on the beach, Whitstable has plenty to offer. The shingle beach welcomes furry visitors throughout the year, and the sea is a haven for windsurfing and sailing. The west-facing position is a sheer delight for catching the sunset over classic fish and chips. Canterbury is just 7 miles away with its cathedral, ancient walls and bustling streets lined with shops and eateries. For cyclists, the Crab and Winkle Way links Canterbury with Whitstable and is just 7 miles long if you have a doggy trailer for your pup.

The upstairs terrace was a great feature and lovely view of the sea whilst enjoying the bottle of wine left for us as a welcome.

Very well equipped and in a prime location. Local parking is very expensive, however we found a suitable reasonably priced nearby driveway on the Just Park app. Waste collection appears an issue but once we contacted the owner a temporary solution was found

We had a great stay over Christmas in this cute cottage. It was a cold few days but the cottage was very warm with a wood burning stove which added to the ambiance, there was also wood for us to use. A welcome pack was also gratefully received! The cottage is very well equipped & the furnishings are comfy. Location is brilliant the beach can be seeRead moren from the bedroom window & restaurants/shops are close by. Steph the owner was great & let us check in early & was easily contactable. Hide

A charming cottage in an ideal location. 1 minute walk to the beach one way, and the town the other. The cottage provides everything you need for a break away. We will be going back next year for another lovely stay, for sure

Great location in such a nice and friendly town! We really enjoyed staying in Whitstable, it was the perfect beach getaway with just a short commute to London or Margate. The cottage itself could use some love and sorting through some of the provided items. But otherwise had such a lovely stay!

A lovely cottage in a great location. Decor and books added much to the holiday. Upper balcony views were very special. Great to be in a quiet location away from town traffic and yet near seafront and town centre.
