There’s also a breakfast bar where you can enjoy a morning coffee as you plan your day’s walks. This area flows into the dining space, with a table for six, and then the lounge, where soft seating surrounds a wood-burner-effect electric fire, adding extra warmth on cooler evenings as your mutts snuggle by your feet. For entertainment you can stream your favourite shows on the Smart TV. When night has fallen, stroll through to the tranquil bedrooms, which include ample storage. The king-size has a TV and an en-suite shower, while the twin uses a separate family bathroom. The sunny back garden has a lawn where furry friends can chase their tails, and a patio for al fresco drinks and dining. There’s also bench seating in the front garden, and parking on the drive for two cars.
From your front door it’s less than a mile to the shores of Lake Windermere and its enticing walks. Dogs are welcome on the boats which cruise the lake, and which connect you to Lakeside, Wray Castle and Ambleside. For some fascinating history, Ambleside Roman Fort is only 4.5 miles away, where dogs on leads are welcome.
