It truly was a lovely weeks holiday, the cottage itself is in an amazing secluded location with a fantastic view. Well equipped with everything we needed and very cosy. It was such a treat to see so much wildlife around the cottage, otters down by the water, looking over the fence, so many wee birds in the lovely garden, seals at the harbour a shorRead moret walk down the hill. The cottage is clean and very well equipped. The downside for us was that the garden was not secure for our dogs. Sheep and the occasional deer graze right up to the garden and when we arrived, the upper wire fencing was broken in several places leaving only a low mesh section easily jumpable by our border collies. We joined the pieces as best we cRead moreould but didnt think it would hold against any pressure. Clashnessie beach, 20 mins away, was.a great spot for the dogs to have a run around. Hide

Stunning location, lovely cottage with everything we needed. Spent hours wildlife watching from the garden at the front of the house. This is our second visit. We have been coming to the West coast of Scotland for the last 20 years and this has got to be the best place.

The cottage was so homely....we loved every moment of it....just remember that you will need to make sure you stock up on food and essentials as its in a remote location and its at least a 20 minute drive to the local spar shop ....but the drive there is fantastic...that's what we want

This cottage has everything you need. We were a couple with dog. Very much appreciated the fully enclosed garden. The log burner is great. Efficient and cosy. Well equipped and comfortable. And then there are the views! Magical. Waking up in the double bedroom or simply sitting in the chair gazing out to sea was unique.
