Heating broken and really disappointed in lack of Christmas decoration. One artificial tree with a string of lights on it in the dining/kitchen is hardly what I would call 'decorated for Christmas'. With a young child I wanted a magical Christmas and this is not it. I gave up on better properties and chose this one purely for the false claim that iRead moret would be decorated. Every morning I had to spend up to 90 minutes fiddling with the thermostat to hopefully get the heating to switch on! Hide

Everyone was delighted with the house and want to return next year which will be our fourth visit to Arran. We had a lovely house in Lamlash the previous two years but it was sold this year so we had to find another property. Brodick turned out to be a much better better location with the co-op at the bottom of the road and access to the great bus Read moreservice.. On the journey home we were on the Pentland ferry at 0745 and it was very cold and not even a cup of tea was available. Hide

Beautiful house, close to the centre of Brodick with plenty of space for the extended family. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds/bedding and plenty of storage. All 3 bathrooms were recently upgraded with good showers. The dining table is excellent for family meals, chatting, jigsaws and is the focal point of the house.

Had a great time in Arandel despite the weather and cancelled ferries. Lots of room for our party to have their own space. Great location, walked to beautiful Glen Rosa, drive to Glen Sannox, kids enjoyed pony riding and crazy golf.

A fantastic old house in a convenient location in Brodick with easy access to amenities and things to do. Very spacious and great for a large group or family. The play room was packed with toys and kept our four children very happy. The garden is secure and dog friendly. Updated bathrooms were a nice surprise but we found the beds uncomfortable.

Loved our stay!! Will definitely recommend to others and we'll stay again in the future.
