Set in a wonderful location, this four-person, one-dog cottage is perfect for families or friends with a canine companion in tow. Tucked away with 3 acres of grounds shared with the owners and boasting uninterrupted, panoramic views over the River Tay, this property makes an ideal relaxing retreat.

 

Feel the tension melt away as you enter the cosy lounge of this property. Decorated with delicate tones and soft furnishings, the space provides a welcome retreat after a long day out walking. Sit back and soak up the fantastic views over the River Tay or sink into one of the plush sofas and watch a movie with the family. The stylish kitchen/diner provides ample space to cook up a storm and enjoy a hearty meal together. During the summer months, you can head outside and use the Weber BBQ for a little dining alfresco whilst enjoying the manicured gardens and sweeping riverside views. When it’s time for bed, you can retreat to one of the two bedrooms which also share the same vistas and offer plenty of storage space.

 

Take your family and tufty-pawed friend along with you on a riverside adventure. Explore the River Tay and be sure to stop off at nearby Stanley Beach which is an easy 10-minute walk from the property. Those who love to fish can try their hand at salmon fishing (but please note that pre-booking is essential). The village of Stanley is a mile away and boasts an abundance of local amenities as well as pretty stone houses and churches to explore. The vibrant city of Perth is approximately 8 miles from the house and well worth a visit during your stay. Expect to find plenty of independent shops, fine eateries and dog-friendly pubs for you to sample.

Would highly recommend this beautiful cottage. The location was perfect for us, our dog Riley loved the river walks. The hosts Gary and Zarah were so friendly and helpful.

The cottage is spacious and well furnished. It was easy to feel at home there. The kitchen had everything you may need for cooking etc. The laundry facilities were great as well. It is also very dog friendly and the hosts also provide treats and doggy towels etc which is a really nice touch. The beds are super comfortable and the bedrooms are spacRead moreious and well equipped. The 2 en suite bathrooms are faultless and the water pressure is superb. The location is wonderful. Fantastic cottage. Extremely clean, cosy and well equipped. Owners SO helpful & welcoming. Right on the River Tay with fabulous views & walks. Fishing too if you want. Lovely few days relaxing holiday. Even a Red Squirrel ran past the front windows. Highly recommend. .

Fantastic stay over new year. Cottage was beautiful with everything we needed and more. The owners went above and beyond with a lovely welcome pack for us and the dog. Had a great time at The Beaches . Zarah and gary are fantastic hosts. Everything needed was there and very comfortable. Great location especially for us fisherman. The weather was unbelievable for April. Not good for the salmon fishing. But I'm sure we will be back to enjoy thus lovely place.

Amasing place! Amasing hosts! The location was great, we got to see everything we wanted. Such comfortable beds! We saw 2 red squirrels in the garden. The river tay is beautiful and great walks on the doorstep. Would stay again and recommend to anyone!
