Carse House is a real find- a beautiful period home in a stunning remote location. The house was perfect for our multi generational family gathering with plenty of rooms for socialising or having some peace and quiet. The kitchen is really well equipped with everything I could have asked for. Owner was very responsive and helpful to my questions. DRead moreefinitely recommend Hide

The house was fantastic. In a stunning setting and really comfortable. The kitchen was really well set up with lots of equipment (e.g. 2 dishwashers) and we really enjoyed cooking the local seafood. Any queries we had were answered immediately and would recommend Carse House for a large family group of all ages.

We had a great week at Carse House. The setting is pure magic and the view is one that never gets old. The house has space for everyone, cozy fires, a play room, a big kitchen, and bedrooms with amazing views. Its a little off the beaten track, but thats exactly why its so peaceful. Perfect for family gatherings or friends wanting a true Scottish eRead morescape. We really enjoyed the beach and we were almost always the only ones on it. Hide

Carse was ideal for a 80th birthday family gathering. We enjoyed local walks with plenty of archaeological interest, sunny days on the beach, and the garden had plenty of interest for little people to explore. There were also plenty of games available to entertain during the evenings. Looking forward very much to returning as soon as we can.
