The cottage was well presented and had every kitchen appliance and gadget we could have wished for. Although there were no attractions within walking distance, you are within reasonable reach of many attractions and sights. The shower was one of the best weve ever used and was much appreciated after days out walking. The blackout blinds were a greaRead moret idea and led to restful sleep for us all. Hide

2nd/9th August '24 The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Five of us - grandparents down to our grandchildren plus dog had a lovely week here and would definitely stay again.

The Cottage was okay in a very good area to visit the South Lakes. Shops 10min drive. 2 pubs In village. Bakery, butcher and chip shop 5mins drive away. The cottage was comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children but would be crowded with 6. The kitchen and conservatory were a little dated and we found the kitchen lacked worktop space to cook/prep foodRead more. Although well stocked with everything you could need. We had a lovely holiday, there's so much to see and do and the scenery is spectacular. Hide

A delightful cottage in a friendly welcoming village, perfectly positioned to access the Lakes and surrounding countryside. Very well equipped with attention to detail.
