Part of a small complex of beautifully updated properties, this light and welcoming steading offers access to a range of great shared facilities onsite including a swimming pool, gym, children’s play area and a tennis court.

Entering this stylish property, head from the entrance hall up the glass and oak staircase to the first floor where you will find the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With high vaulted ceilings, an integrated music system with ceiling speakers, and abundant light streaming in through large windows, the lounge is a perfect spot for everyone to relax in comfort. There’s also a lovely central dining area and sleek, fully equipped kitchen. Patio doors open onto a glass-fronted heated and sheltered balcony, perfect for sipping a morning coffee and viewing the glorious scenery. Returning to the ground floor, there’s a choice of two delightful en-suite super-king-size bedrooms. From both bedrooms, bifold doors open out onto a pretty garden with space for your pet to lie in the sun as you sit back and enjoy far-reaching views.

Of the three steadings onsite, this property is closest to the children’s play area with zipwire. Also onsite are shared facilities including tennis courts and a leisure building housing a beauty therapy and treatment room, jacuzzi, gym and swimming pool. Situated just outside the bustling town of Forfar (6 miles), the property offers fabulous rural walks for you and your canine companion to follow, with the eastern coast just a drive away (15 miles).

A really beautiful location. Accommodation was excellent with really special views including highland coos! Swimming pool with jacuzzi was lovely and so special as we had it to ourselves. A very special escape.

We spent a lovely few days at Balbinny. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub and of course, feeding the Highland Cows. The apartment was ready for us with high chair, cot and stair gate. We would certainly book another stay.

A fabulous location and amazing views. An excellent set up with swimming pool, tennis courts and treatment room as well as play park for the kids. . Everything from dressing gowns to toys at the pool as well as BBQs and feed for the Highland cows. Theyve thought of everything A brilliant week and would highly recommend

Absolutely amazing !! Location is stunning!! Accommodation high class apartment,everything from utensals to furnishings, sound system superb so much, so looking at getting it in our house now It is a countryside location which we wanted and loved, so if you want entertainment or restaurant/bars close by maybe not for you. Isla is an extremely comfortable and well equipped, warm holiday home. The sole use of the heated pool, changing facilities and treatment rooms (at allotted times of our choice) is a real bonus to this property. Fabulous luxury stay with private pool featuring panoramic views. Dog friendly and fantastic freedom for our furry companion, he enjoyed going straight out of bedroom bifold doors into the rolling countryside! We will be back!

Just returned from a 5 night stay in Glen Isla. We had a fantastic time. The accommodation is beautiful throughout, really well equipped and with views that are postcard worthy. We had a fabulous time. The flats were spacious and very well equipped. The view was idyllic. The pool and tennis courts were a great bonus and much appreciated by our teenage children.

Fantastic cottages, very well equipped, very clean and extremely spacious, amazing views. Shower rooms are much better than we have at home! On top of that is the pool - which is large and great for kids, and we could book private pool times. Small shop on site as well.
