Set within the beautiful Colne Valley, this cosy cottage is perfect for couples and their beloved canine companion, sleeping two people in one room. With waymarked paths that ramble through the surrounding countryside, Fido will be taking the lead and following his nose through the fields and along the hedgerows in no time. End your long country walk with a well-deserved pint in the local dog-friendly pub which is within walking distance of the property.

The comfortable accommodation has so much on offer that you’ll hardly need to leave, apart from to walk your four-legged friend, of course. The lounge is cosy with a leather sofa and armchairs, arranged perfectly around the Smart TV and wood burner which, on cooler evenings, you can fire up and snuggle down together. No doubt your four-legged family member will sleepily find their way to the warmth of the wood burner to dream about a day running free across the Cotswolds countryside. The quaint cottage features details that remind you of its rural setting. As you gently wake from a peaceful slumber, you can throw open the French doors from the bedroom on to the enclosed courtyard to take in the fresh morning air, allowing Fido to stretch his legs.

Further afield, discover the idyllic town of Bourton-on-the-Water (11 miles), which offers a range of dog-friendly attractions including The Motor Museum, Bird Land and the Dragonfly Maze. Beautiful location, so quiet but only a quick drive to many 'must see' places. Great walks straight from the front door too. No street lights so the stars are amazing! Accommodation very clean, good kitchen. Overall very good, a slight bit of updating would make it excellent but good price and would recommend.

The cottage was warm and comfortable and very well equipped. we were delighted to meet Ian and Judi and found them very pleasant and helpful. Waffle ( the dog) enjoyed the company of the geese and chickens. The surrounding area provided many and varied walks. The Mill Inn, only a 5 minute walk away, provide a varied menu and good hospitality.

It's a lovely comfy, cosy, well equipped & spotlessly clean cottage & perfectly located for getting out & about. Mr & Mrs Pollard are great hosts, there if you need them but not intrusive. There was fresh milk in the fridge when we arrived & Mrs Pollard bought us some delicious fresh laid eggs which were much appreciated.

Really cosy cottage set amidst the countryside of the Cotswolds with a good local pub nearby serving food. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage which was well equipped with everything you could want for a weeks stay, and particularly liked having a woodburner which we lit on the chilly evenings.

A warm, comfortable and spacious property for two people in a lovely location. The property had some nice Christmas touches - a nice tree and a couple of good quality crackers! It is in a peaceful village but still not too far from the main road. Mr and Mrs Pollard were friendly and helpful.
