Your canine companion will be given a new leash of life as they spend their days digging holes in the sand and running into the waves to catch sticks – although seasonal restrictions apply to certain beaches. You’ll be able to step out of your front door and walk the cobbled streets straight to the beach, as well as enjoying an array of shops, bars and restaurants.
This two-bedroom property is light and airy and can accommodate up to six people. The open-plan lounge/diner is the perfect room to get some peace and quiet after experiencing the buzz of Tenby town. Here, you can kick back on the comfy leather sofas to catch up on your favourite TV shows or sit down at the table to discuss the day’s adventures with the family. Outside is a small enclosed courtyard where your hound can stretch their legs, and it will also come in very useful for storing beach essentials or bikes.
Venturing into Tenby couldn’t be easier. The town centre is only half a mile from the front door and is a pleasurable walking route with your pup. There’s so much to do right on the doorstep that you may not even need to leave the coastal resort. If you do wish to see more of the local area, the dog-friendly Carew Castle (6.5 miles) has a lovely walk around the Tidal Mill, guided tours around the castle (four-legged visitors are also welcome), and a picnic area – perfect for a day out.
