Seaton Beach is positioned less than half an hour away, for you and your four legged friends to explore all year round. Morwellham Quay is just six miles away and here you can visit and see what was once one of the busiest ports in Britain. Discover the heritage of the Tamar Valley nearby and the abundance of Wildlife it has to offer. Visit one of many National Trust properties including Lydford Gorge and Cotehele House which are both dog friendly all year round, boasting lots of beautiful walks and grounds for your dogs to explore. Family attractions nearby are Pennywell Farm, Southwest Segway, Woodlands family theme park and The Dartmoor Mystery Treasure Trail.

Arriving at the gates of this impressive property you are eager to explore. Enter through the large oak doors into a handy boot room, ideal for hanging dog leads, coats and storing shoes after a busy day exploring, this is also where the original chapel bell can be found and to this day you can still ring it. The dining area has a large dining table along with breakfast bar for the whole family to enjoy meals together. Just off the dining area is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a handy separate WC, perfect for the dog to be washed and dried after a busy day exploring. Heading back through the ground floor and up the granite stone steps to the first floor, where unfortunately your dog will not be able to join you, you will find the large and comfortable lounge with sumptuous furnishings to relax on after a busy day so you can snuggle up and watch your favourite film on the Smart TV with Sky TV (basic package). From here a few steps lead down to a cosy snug area with comfy seating, warming wood burner and a computer with games to keep the younger guests entertained. When it's time to head to bed you have four bedrooms to choose from. First a king-size with feature skyline wall and Smart TV and next a further king size bedroom (which can be made up as a twin on request). Head up another beautiful oak staircase to the second floor where you will find a stunning four-poster king-size bed with an en-suite shower room with WC.  The bunk bedroom is perfect for the younger ones in the party. Completing the accommodation is a bathroom with separate shower, freestanding slipper bath and WC.

Heading out to the rear garden you’ll find a patio area with garden furniture, perfect for dining alfresco along with a large lawn area for the dogs to roam around and for any little ones to enjoy ball games. The grounds surround the property on three sides and to the front of the property is a large garage with a multi-function games table, comfy seating and a drinks fridge. A fabulous property in a wonderfully isolated location with immense views - it really felt that we had got away from it all for a week. Interesting building sympathetically renovated to a very high quality - comfortable, spacious and well equipped whilst retaining original features such as the chapel bell (and its pull - a useful alarm) and footscrRead moreapers. Glorious woodland walks a short drive away across the river and dog loved the field below the chapel. Games room proved very popular. Hide

This property is quite exceptional. Recent high end renovation but lovely original features but very modern feel to the renovation, beautiful oak feaures throughout house. kitchen and dinning in lower floor with massive lounge study on ground floor. bedrooms on ground and upper floor. Thimble Hall is tucked away a few miles down narrow winding laneRead mores so keep your reversing mirrors clean and expect a bin lorry or just a big Van on every blind corner and you will fine. Hide
