This stunning, traditional country home beside the Malvern Hills will be your setting for a glorious family holiday or special occasion. Set in acre upon acre of grounds, including mature gardens and ancient woodland, the cottage is a characterful and tranquil place to reflect and connect with each other.

Arrive at the cottage through the tumbling, mature grounds of the Cheyney Estate. The former worker’s cottage sits amid flowers and opens onto a handy lobby. Head through into the heart of the home, the kitchen, where a generous dining table with wooden benches provides the perfect pitstop to catch up with one another before a day of exploring. The lounge is a cosy, comfortable affair with a wood burner and TV, and even a collection of games if your party has some competitive energy left over. Upstairs are your bedrooms. On the first floor, there are two super-king bedrooms and one king size bedroom, one with an en-suite, and all with magnificent views of the surrounding landscape. Head up a further level to find the secret final bedroom: another super-king in the eaves of the cottage.

You and your dogs will have a fine time roaming the area around the cottage, exploring the gardens and trails through the ancient woodland that belong to the estate. But you’ll also want to head out into the village of Bishops Frome, where a couple of traditional inns and a village church sit beside the bubbling River Frome. Head into the Malvern Hills for a steeper walk, just 6 miles away, or for some town life, take a 16-mile jaunt to Worcester, the vibrant home of shops, eateries, and historical sites.

Lovely, comfortable house with gorgeous views. Great for adult families as there are four well proportioned bedrooms, a great kitchen/dinning area and two comfortable living rooms. Weve had a most enjoyable time exploring the local area as there is lots to do.

Cottage is comfortable, clean and spacious. The summerhouse has a large kitchen, table and toilet. The bedrooms were very hot on an evening (we were there in August), so would recommend taking fans if going in the summer. As stated before small fridge for possible 8 people. Very tranquil area and we wouldn't hesitate returning.

A lovely and spacious house with lots of outdoor space too. Really well equipped with plenty of bathrooms to accommodate all the family. We also enjoyed making use of the games in the summer house and even had a go at boating on the lake. A great place to stay.
