Give your dog something to go mutts for when you book this charming fairytale cottage nestled within pure serenity and backed by a wooded valley. With space for four humans and one pup, this generous home is an excellent choice for those seeking relaxation and countryside walks.

This Grade B-listed property oozes sophistication and warmth from the outset. On the ground floor, tired owners can store their walking boots and coats in the ample-spaced boot room before going into the well-equipped kitchen/diner to flick the kettle on. In the kitchen/diner, there's a table that seats all four guests and a brilliant selection of appliances, including a Nespresso coffee machine and fridge freezer. The lounge is just as cosy with its Smart TV, comfy seating and wood burner, which we're sure will warm chilly paws. At bedtime, say goodnight to your curious canine and head upstairs, where you will discover two inviting bedrooms just ready and waiting to drift you off to sleep. In the morning, spend a few quiet moments in the snug with your favourite bestselling book, or carry your morning coffee out to the sunny lawn where you can relax amongst the well-manicured gardens and watch your pup run wild.

Wander down to the bottom of the drive to explore the deep wooded valley of the Den of Alyth. This magical gen features a variety of wildlife, including dippers and grey wagtails, and walks of varying lengths, making it perfect for energetic pooches. If you're into climbing, then the Angus Glens of Clova, Isla, and Prosen are all within a 30-mile drive. History buffs will be in their element, with Glamis Castle being just 10 miles away, while the pretty village of Dunkeld (17 miles) will have foodies coming back for more.

We have had the most wonderful stay with Liz and Charlie, the cottage is well equipment, cozy, comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. Liz is on hand for anything you need or any problems you have. The grounds of the cottage are stunning with local walks for our dog. Beautiful, comfortable and really well equipped cottage with a fantastic amount of stunning countryside and coastline to explore both on its doorstep and within a short drive. The owners who live next door are very warm, welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

We stayed over Christmas. Wonderful place to stay, pictures do not do it justice. A real home away from home. Hosts are very welcoming and accomadating. Don't worry if you forget something...they have probably thought of it for you. Location is brilliant, secluded but nothing too far away either. We spent ten beautiful days at Craigellie House. The spacious two-storey flat ist a cozy and clean retreat from all types of tours in whatever type of weather - be it in the surroundings around Alyth or further away at Loch Ness of Edinburgh. We heartily recommend it!

This place is absolutely stunning and tranquil and you can see how much care the hosts take to look after the property.
