This beautiful, extensive family home gives you and your pup pals your very own slice of the Highlands. Set in 4,000 acres of lush grounds on the Brahan Estate and with an enclosed garden too, this could be the perfect venue for your next family reunion or special occasion with two and four-legged friends. There’s even a nine-hole golf course on the estate.

The property is a classic farmhouse with a gorgeous turreted facade. Step in and you’ll discover a pleasing blend of classic Scottish country and contemporary styles, making for a characterful and relaxing atmosphere. The sitting room is a bright space with a lovely bay window overlooking the garden. Another snug has a wood burner-effect gas fire, piano, books and games. The kitchen is a delightful space to cook and eat, but if you want a real Highland knees-up, head to the dining room, where there’s a lovely  formal table to dine with friends and family.  The bedrooms, including four tranquil twins, a sumptuous king and a double, arranged over the ground, first and second floors, and are decorated in subtle, natural tones.

The farmhouse sits amidst the stunning landscape of the estate grounds, home to incredible wildlife, with lochs, ponds and trails for happy hounds to explore. It really is an ideal dog’s holiday. Woodland footpaths and cycle trails set off from the grounds too. Or for some vibrant (and dog-friendly) town life, you can head 12 miles to Inverness and sample the local culinary and historical delights. The city sits around the Moray Firth, where you and your canine can discover invigorating beach walks to blow the cobwebs away once and for all.
