Add to the family’s memory bank with a break at this Bude holiday home. Just a mile from the beach, this retreat has stylish interiors where six can unwind, including three peaceful bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite. The separate playroom and enclosed garden ensure children and their four-pawed pal can enjoy their own downtime whatever the weather.

Contemporary styling flows throughout this handsome holiday property. Enter via the large hallway and immediately to your left is the kitchen/diner – the perfect setting for catch-ups while preparing dinner. The adjacent dining room has plenty of floor space where Fido can stretch out and wait for any leftovers. Throw open the French doors for easy access to the patio and garden beyond and let your pup wander in and out at will. Directly opposite the kitchen is the dual-aspect lounge, where there’s a choice of seating together with a Smart TV and a selection of books for you to enjoy. Ensuring harmony when everyone’s together, the next-door playroom has a daybed and its own Smart TV, plus a games console. A handy cloakroom completes the ground-floor layout. Once Fido is settled in his bed, move upstairs and you’ll find three lovely bedrooms, each with a cool, coastal vibe. The master has a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, while the other rooms are a light and bright twin and a double bedroom. The delightful family bathroom is also on this floor. Enjoy spending time in the enclosed garden here – there’s a lawn and patio area plus seasonal planting for Rover to sniff out.

Off-road, private parking is available so you can leave the car behind and enjoy walks into Bude and beyond. The bustling town offers fun for all the family: walkers, swimmers and surfers will love the beaches, many of which are dog-friendly all year round. A not-to-be-missed sight includes Bude Sea Pool, 1 mile from this cottage, a semi-natural tidal pool on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean – while some take a dip here, the rest of your party can enjoy a stroll along the South West Coast Path. Further afield, many attractions welcome dogs – your pet can access most of the Milky Way Adventure Park (16.5 miles), and will get a warm welcome in the picturesque village of Clovelly nearby too (17.5 miles).

Good location for canal walk & SW Coastal Path. A 15-20 minute walk to Summerleaze Beach. 5-10 mins walk to town. Residential area & we parked our SUV easily. Well equipped & clean holiday home. This was our 3rd visit as we like everything about it.

Berries House was larger than we expected, very well equipped and most comfortable. The tvs were large and easy to operate, and the sofas were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, and the tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, chocolates and bottle of fizz much appreciated. Large separate dinning room was perfect. The garden was a nice size, secure foRead morer our dog, and a sun trap. Upstairs the beds were comfortable and the towels were large, thick and fluffy. Both showers were good, and the mirror lights a nice touch. Overall there was nothing negative, it exceeded all our expectations and allowed for a comfortable relaxing break in Bude. Hide

This is a great house for a family on holiday. Well equipped, close to shops, the town, the beech and nice walks. Since we stayed last year the bathroom and en-suite have been replaced to a high standard. It is kept very clean. The garden is secure for the dog and nice for meals outside.

Very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped holiday home in a convenient location for Bude town and the wonderful beaches. We travelled as just a couple with our dog, but there is plenty of room for a family to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed our break and hope to come back again in the future.
