The luxurious property benefits from a peaceful location, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottage is full of character, with exposed beams and an original open fire, and has lots of homely touches to make your stay as comfortable as possible. On a chilly evening, snuggle up on one of the comfy leather sofas and watch your favourite film, whilst Rover and Fido warm their paws in front of the crackling open fire. Alternatively, challenge your fellow guests to a game of table football in the snug. There’s a lovely spot in the kitchen, with additional seating and a wood burner, which is ideal for setting up the dog beds. Outside, there’s a beautiful enclosed garden where the dogs can play.
The furballs will love chasing around on the sand at West Silloth Beach (4.5 miles away), whilst you admire the gorgeous views towards the hills of Southern Scotland and look for porpoises off the shore. Woofers are welcome here all year. Head to Bowness-on-Solway, 12.5 miles away, to join the Hadrian’s Wall Path. Whether you take on the full 84 miles, or complete a section, you and your four-legged chums can immerse yourself in history and experience the beauty of this rugged landscape.
