Set in an enviable location in Brixham, this spacious property is the perfect setting for a family holiday - and your four-legged friend. Less than half a mile from the front door a gentle stroll will take you to the pretty harbour, perfect for stretching yours and your canine’s legs. Fido will be mesmerised as he sits in the large lounge window, watching the comings and goings of the harbour. Don’t forget to pack fluffy blankets and his favourite bed so he can snooze in comfort. This delightful duplex apartment, set over three floors, is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen overlooks the enclosed private garden, so while you prepare a feast, you can keep an eye on kids and canines - the perfect spot for dining alfresco too.

The lounge has been decorated with green tones throughout and offers plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs for you to relax. A bright dining area provides a spot for you to gather together and discuss your day. The views over the harbour from the lounge are unbeatable but the lucky couple who bag the king-size bedroom, are in for a real treat. They won’t want to part with the stunning views enjoyed from the comfort of the cosy bed. Brixham’s bustling marina offers quaint shops, delicious restaurants and quirky cafes.

Hop on one of the boat trips or ferries that take you around the bay or across to the neighbouring resort of Torquay. Enjoy walks to nearby Berry Head National Nature Reserve (1 mile), popping into the Berry Head Hotel (0.5 miles) for a drink or Sunday lunch - your canine too. Those with an interest in history will enjoy jumping aboard the town’s replica of the Golden Hind (0.5 miles) or learning about the area’s chequered history by following the eye-opening Blackbeard’s Trail.

A comfortable spacious property affording excellent views over the marina and close to a pub/restaurant. An allocated parking space at the rear of the property was very useful.

The house was perfect and the views from the front windows amazing. An ideal position close to Marina and Harbour. Two bathrooms modern and spacious. All linen provided and good quality. Kitchen well stocked with all equipment needed if you want to prepare food, although we did very little as who would want to when there are numerous pubs, restRead moreaurants and takeaways in the vicinity. Garden fully enclosed and a lovely sunny patio with furniture to be enjoyed up until late afternoon (in March). The availability of an assigned parking space is invaluable as parking is not easy in Brixham although when I approached owner for advice on a second car he was helpful with advice and we achieved two cars parked with no problem whatsoever. One member of our party said I must give top marks for the sit at Retro Space Invadors table situated behind the sofa in the lounge. Being of advancing years, it brought back many very happy memories of his youth and he spent many a happy hour there until we dragged him out to enjoy the splendid scenery of Brixham. One thing should be mentioned, not a negative for the property as there wasnt any, but the surrounding area of Brixham has many steps and hills with narrow pavements and footfall can be difficult at times. Great house, location is perfect, amazing views. Having own parking sports is a godsend. Literally 5 mins walk to the breakwater. Perfect.

Second time staying in this wonderful home. Everything is perfect and our stay was amazing. The house itself is spacious, clean and has everything you could possibly need. The garden is brilliant if you have a dog. This is a lovely property close to the harbour and in walkable distance of Berryhead, but tall people need to mind their heads in some of the rooms.

This holiday accommodation is perfect! Our large family of 6 (and the dog) had a perfect break at Moorings End. All rooms are a great size and the dog loved the large garden. Kitchen is more than fully equipped (wine fridge was an added bonus) with a separate utility room. Having two bathrooms made life easier, having four teenagers! I would like to tell you all that this place is rubbish so you all stay away and we can get it again next time . But I can't! THIS PLACE IS SUPERB!! We have holidayed in various locations in Brixham for over a decade and the quality and location of this house is the VERY best we have stayed at.
