Explore the nearby hills and moors on foot or by bike on the many footpaths and trails nearby, keen walkers may want to take up the challenge of summitting Goatfell, Arran’s highest peak (13.5 miles from the cottage) for the amazing views. Discover the ancient standing stones, cairns, and stone circles along the coast and on Machrie moor (from 1 mile) and fascinating King’s Caves (3.5 miles).
