This striking Highland retreat is a superb base for outdoor adventures, from hill walks to runs on the beach. Designed for eight humans and two canine companions, it’s set in wonderful woodland scenery, while the light-filled interior is a perfect combination of comfort, convenience and style.
This superlative property has incredible views and space in which to relax and unwind with your furry friends. The farmhouse-style kitchen/diner includes a range-style cooker and a long dining table. Laundry facilities can be found in the utility room on the lower-ground floor – a good option for storing pet food. The impressive lounge is on the first floor, a double-height room with a vaulted ceiling and enormous windows, as well as a Smart TV and a wood burner. Shelves of books, a record player and a selection of board games are also provided for your entertainment. When you’re ready to say goodnight to your hounds, two of the four bedrooms are on the ground floor: a king-size with an en-suite shower and a bunk-bed room served by a family bathroom. Two further king-size bedrooms, both en-suite, are on the first floor. The large lawn is a great space for four-pawed pals to play, though bear in mind it’s not enclosed. Dine al fresco on the patio or, if you’re feeling energetic, the garage offers table tennis as well as storage for outdoor gear. Off-road parking is provided for three cars.
This wonderful escape is set in whisky country, less than a mile from the GlenAllachie Distillery – where dogs on leads are welcome on the grounds and inside the shop and tasting bar. Follow your furry friends on a hike up Ben Rinnes for sweeping views from the summit. Alternatively, the endless sands of Lossiemouth East Beach, dog-friendly all year, are just 21.5 miles away.
