Located on the edge of the Norfolk Coast National Landscape, this quaint cottage in an idyllic village setting is perfect for an adventurous escape with family, friends and canine companions.
Hang up the leash in the entrance hallway before leading the way into the beautifully cosy lounge. Your pup won’t be able to resist snoozing beside the open fire as you relax on the plush sofa. The light-filled adjoining dining room offers space for your whole pack to gather, and leads into the kitchen, which boasts everything you need to whip up some tasty treats and fill your top dog’s water bowl. Enjoying tail-wagging views of the garden and the surrounding countryside, the four bedrooms upstairs offer peace and tranquillity. There’s a super-king-size, a double, a twin (suitable for children under 12 only) and a triple bunk bedroom on offer. Outside, little paws can roam the lawn whilst you enjoy al fresco drinks on the patio; you can enjoy fresh vegetables and the strawberry patch when produce is in season. Private parking for two cars and unallocated parking for two cars in the lane to the front of the cottage is available.
The peaceful Norfolk village of Sharrington in the North Norfolk District conservation area offers plenty of scenic country lanes to explore on foot or by bike if your four-pawed pal can keep up. Leave no stick unfetched by discovering the independent boutiques and art galleries of the Georgian town of Holt (3.5 miles) before hopping on the local steam railway for a coastal journey to Sheringham, 10 miles away. Take the lead to Blakeney (7 miles) to jump aboard a boat trip with your canine companion or treat your pup to an afternoon of getting their paws sandy at Burnham Overy Staithe Beach (14 miles).
