For families or couples looking for adventure on the West Wales coast, this charming apartment is a fantastic option, boasting a wood burner-effect electric fire for cosy afternoon snoozes. What’s more, there are not one, but two dog-friendly beaches within the town of New Quay where you can enjoy hours of seaside fun with your pup.

The heart of the property is the living room which seamlessly blends traditional features such as the exposed stone fireplace with modern decor to create a fun yet sophisticated styling. A large leather corner sofa ensures plenty of space for the whole family to kick back and relax, with a charming wood burner-effect electric fire as a focal point. Next door, the kitchen has a rustic country feel and ample space to prepare snacks and feasts whatever the occasion to be served up on the four-seater dining table. A set of sliding doors offer access to the courtyard area which is a great storage space. At the back of the home are the two bedrooms, one of which is furnished with a sumptuous king-size bed and a subtle nautical theme. Bedroom two has comfortable twin beds in a contrasting country theme, perfect for both adults and children. Completing the interiors is the bathroom with a shower over the bath for convenience.

For seafaring dogs, a boat trip from New Quay is a must where you may be lucky enough to spot a range of sea life including dolphins and seals. Or, if you’re in search of a more active way to explore the scenery, pack your backpack and let your hound search out the best sticks to fetch and scents to sniff on a walk along the Wales Coast Path to Aberaeron (7 miles).

Lovely flat in an ideal location. Spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want. Would certainly recommend it to anyone

Pros - good location for visiting other areas in Cardigan Bay, very well equipped, good heating and lovely bedding and towels. Cons - A fairly dark property with no outlook apart from the front window on to the houses across the road. It isn't far to the beach but it is hill down which may not be suitable for all.

Enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable and cosy flat. Underfloor heating was so effective that we had to turn it down! Easy to sweep and clean which was handy as we had a dog. Extremely comfortable beds and lovely soft covers.

Very well equipped. Only disappointment being that there is no parking available. Had to leave car in local car park at a charge.

The apartment has been well fitted out and was an excellent place to stay while enjoying a holiday in New Quay. Little touches like towels for the beach and a spare dog lead were appreciated. We ate in on several nights and the kitchen has everything you need. Location is very handy. There is no parking next to the appartment so you need to use oneRead more of the council paid carparks, a weekly ticket cost 23 so not too bad, but you do end up walking back and forth to the carpark. Would recommend. Hide
