On this floor you’ll also find a bedroom for one with a double bed. Upstairs, there are three further bedrooms: a king-size, a twin (super-king-size on request) and a room for one with a 4’ bed, sharing a family bathroom. A few metres away, the cottage boasts many period features, including a beamed, apex ceiling in the lounge/diner, which has a TV.  It also includes a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom and two further bedrooms - a king-size and a cosy twin. The grounds include a comfy seating area, patio with dining furniture, BBQ, fire pit and hot tub.

This lovely retreat is set on an acre of land 2 miles east of Harlech, where there are shops, restaurants, cafes and takeaways, as well as a clifftop medieval castle and a sandy beach where your pups can run for miles. Within 8 miles you can reach Criccieth Castle and beach, Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park and the fascinating Portmeirion Italianate village.

"Wow". The first thing you'll say on seeing the view from the cottage over the bay. It is an amazing panorama that ever-changes with the weather, tide, farms below, sheep, hares, birds, and you'll never tire of it. The cottage itself is perfect for a group, or large family wanting somewhere remote (and it really is remote). Between the main farmhouRead morese and barn-conversion the facilities are great, kitchens, bathrooms, hot tub... Although a dog-friendly property, there is no enclosed space for a let-out. Sheep can't get in, but dogs can very easily get out. However, our dog loved the view view as much as we did sitting on the outside bench for hours (albeit tied a table leg). Hide

Exactly a year since our first time at Erw Wen, and another fabulous week of walks, sea dips & hot tub, breakfasts in the garden and evening drinks soaking up the sunsets.

Excellent - An amazing place to spend New Year with friends and family. The views and living space couldn't have been more welcoming, the log burner was just perfect. It is remote though that was what we were after .

This cottage was one of the best we've ever stayed in. The view was nothing short of spectacular, and the experience of sitting in the hot tub surveying that view was really special. We had a lovely week, fortunate the weather changed after our 1st day! We didn't use the hot tub or the BBQ as we were out and about a lot...plus the evenings were pretty chilly.

A great holiday home. Loved it. Three double/twin beds pretty close together upstairs but the downstairs bed and annex are separate to allow space between groups.
