With a BBQ, fire pit and patio furniture, the garden is the place to be on mild days – your pet can stretch out on the grass or spend a while chowing down on her holiday bone.
The medieval town of Rye, just 3 miles away, is an excellent location for a day trip – wander around the independent shops and admire quaint cobbled streets before taking the dog for a runaround at the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve (5 miles). Fairlight beach (10.5 miles) is popular with the locals, and excellent for swimming, snorkelling and paddleboarding. Further afield, the prom at Hastings (14.5 miles) extends all the way to Bexhill (20 miles) for an extended coastal walk. We recommend stopping on the way for some tasty fish and chips –we know of someone who’ll relish any leftovers!
