This single-storey stone cottage is set on a family-friendly working farm close to the coast at beautiful Barmouth Bay. Sleeping four plus one canine companion, the whole family can relax and unwind at this delightful property.

One of four converted stone buildings on the owner’s working farm, this welcoming holiday home has a comfortable lounge/diner where the family can enjoy time together relaxing in front of the TV or over a meal. The adjacent galley-style kitchen has been well-equipped for all your culinary needs, and once the day is done there are two bedrooms to retire to – the first is a wonderful king-size bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom, and the second is a twin bedroom with a lovely en-suite shower room. Outside, there’s a small courtyard with a bench to the front, plus a shared picnic/BBQ area with tables, charcoal BBQ and a children’s play area. Rainy days don’t have to dampen your holiday spirits – guests have shared use of a games room where there’s a pool table, table football and table tennis.

The village of Dyffryn Ardudwy is less than a mile from your doorstep and is home to a train station on the scenic and dog-friendly Cambrian Coastal Line. Five miles to the north, Harlech is known chiefly for its stunning castle and is home to the steepest street in the Northern Hemisphere, Ffordd Pen Llech. A similar distance to the south, Barmouth looks out onto Cardigan Bay and boasts a fantastic sandy beach and lovely harbour. For walks in different terrain, Eryri/Snowdonia National Park is on your doorstep, with plenty of stunning routes to sniff out. You could also take the traffic-free Mawddach Trail, which winds 9.5 miles along the southern edge of the estuary between Barmouth and Dolgellau, a 15-mile drive away.

Lovely stay would 100% recommend. Cottage was easy accessible and had everything we needed. I stayed there with my dad and our fur baby. My dad has trouble with stairs so this cottage was perfect, all ground floor and easy to get around. Thank you for a lovely stay and your hospitality Jane, was lovely meeting you.
