A beautiful barn conversion, set within a large plot along the edge of the royal town of Caernarfon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with 13th century castle. This spacious property boasts plenty of outdoor space for up to four guests and one pooch, so there’s no need to leave your furry companion behind. Built within the grounds of the owner’s home, privacy is assured and inside the cottage has been finished to a high standard. The surrounding area is a brilliant location for a rural break by the coast; Caernarfon sits along the eastern shoreline of the Menai Strait, opposite the Isle of Anglesey. The area is not only rich in history, but the coastal stretches and beaches such a Dinal Dinlle (8.5 miles away) offer the most spectacular panoramas of the mountains and many of the beaches are dog friendly, with access to plenty of seaside walks.

Inside, the cottage is bright and airy, with the spacious open-plan kitchen/diner and lounge to your left. The kitchen features large French doors which let in plenty of light and is a lovely sunspot for Rover to curl up and enjoy a nap, whilst you rustle up a meal. Retire to the comfy sofas for an evening planning holiday activities before curling up with a cuppa in hand and something engaging on the Smart TV. The cottage has two bedrooms; a super-king-size zip-n-link (which can also be made up as twins) and a twin room (also adapts to a king). And there’s a spacious family bathroom with contemporary finish. Go barking mad for the great outdoor space that’s on offer, with a large paved patio area and plenty of room for your beloved hound to roam around, whilst you enjoy dining al fresco. There is private parking for two cars, an electric car charging point and plenty of space for storing bikes, canoes and paddleboards with the agreement of the owner.

A popular holiday destination year-round the centre of historic UNESCO World Heritage Site Caernarfon sits just 1.5 miles away. Take walkies along the iconic Doc Fictoria and have a ball beside beautiful harbour with many dog-friendly eateries and shops. Very comfortable for the two of us, however if our dog had still been with us it would have been difficult. The outside space is limited and open to the road. This means the claim that your dog can roam while you enjoy outside meals etc is inaccurate.

Spacious and comfortable cottage well equipped for four people in a good location, convenient for access to Caernarfon and surrounding countryside and beaches. We were a party of four adults and dog and never felt overcrowded. Beds particularly comfortable and location is quiet so good nights sleep assured.

The cottage is surprisingly easy to reach in a good location very near to the town. The accommodation is spacious .and parking is right outside the house. I had difficulty understanding the speech from the TV I think there is a poor signal in the area and the height of the room seemed to distort it. We did enjoy our stay .
