Retreat to this beautiful former barn near Llanilar, about 6 miles from Aberystwyth, in Mid Wales and watch tails wag and ears prick up when your four-legged friends arrive. Sleeping four guests and two canine companions, this beautifully presented property enjoys an enclosed garden, with an area of lawn, where your cheerful chums can pad about. Set off on scenic strolls from the property with your faithful friends beside you. Plan days out to the coast, including to Llanrhystud Beach, 8 miles away, where your happy hounds can dip their paws in the salty water all year round.

Follow a path and a few steps up then wander into this bright holiday home to discover an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you, your family and your furry friends can spend quality time together. While away evenings in front of the Smart TV, with the wood burner crackling in the background and the pups stealing 40 winks. Make yourself a cup of tea using the boiling water tap in the kitchen, dish up doggy dinners and cook tasty meals for everyone else too. Gather around the table for hearty holiday feasts. There’s a shower room at this level, while two double bedrooms are situated up on the first floor of the barn, where they both have sloping ceilings. Wake up to take in the beautiful views and to watch your cheerful chums roam in the garden, while you have coffee in the sunshine. You also have parking for two cars.

Pick up the Ceredigion Coast Path at Llanrhystud and stretch furry legs with a picturesque, 14-mile hike to New Quay, looking out for dolphins and porpoises in the bay as you go. Make a day trip to pretty Aberaeron, 13 miles away, where your pals can also join you on the pebble beach.

The cottage was lovely although the shower was really slippery under foot quite scary the owners told us two days before we set off that the dog friendly property isn't really that friendly as we got told to keep the dogs off the furniture and beds and the upstairs bedroom's you can not stand up in

Fabulous break. Stunning views and a lovely cottage with all mod cons. Would recommend very highly and would also return. Great beaches and walks in the area and some nice places to eat.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottagetruly a place we'd love to return to. The owners, who live nearby, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and laid-back, which made everything feel easy and relaxed. The cottage itself was cozy and welcoming, and even our dog felt right at home and had a great time exploring. Highly recommended!

Weve just had a lovely 4 night stay over the Easter holiday. We had clear communication beforehand and Jonathon gave us a warm welcome on arrival. The surroundings are lovely and peaceful and the cottage is very comfortable. We appreciated the welcome basket and loved the boiling water tap. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Swallow Barn. The barn is kitted out with everything you would need on holiday and to a really high standard. I miss that Quooker tap already. Beautiful cottage, location perfect for a peaceful week away. The cottage was very clean, very well equipped & comfortable. Jonathan gave us good advice on dog walks. Aberystwyth not far away, lots of things to do. Tesco delivery driver found us easily. We will certainly make a return visit.

For anyone energetic and with full use of their legs, this pretty cottage is in a very rural setting, and in many ways is lovely, a spacious living room and everything well appointed, appearing brand new. BUT. There is a steep slope up to the front door however, and no bathroom on the bedroom level, it's dowmstairs. The owners were friendly and welRead morecoming, helping us up the long...long...slope with our stuff. Outside it was also very pretty with masses of wild flowers Hide
