This impressive barn conversion is located within the grounds of a working farm amongst the stunning countryside of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sleeping four guests and two hounds, it is top notch for adventures across the sweeping landscape, and you’ll be rewarded by first-rate fare at the local pub 7 miles away. Weary from your explorations, let sleeping dogs lie by the wood burner and sip your favourite tipple in the glow.

A masterpiece of design, the property combines traditional wood with contemporary flair that can be seen throughout, whether you are climbing the open tread stairs and following the glass-enclosed hallway to bed or reclining in the lounge with a glass of wine and your favourite film. Your furry friends will adore snoozing by the wood burner in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, and in the morning, they can watch the garden spring to life through the patio doors as you sizzle up breakfast and perch at the table. Upstairs, both bedrooms are en-suite with lovely countryside views. Fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco, and when you have had your fill, the gate at the end of the lawn opens out to the River Clun where you can let your waggy-tailed pal enjoy a paddle.

The Clun Valley is a delight for walkers with four legs or two, and you’ll have plenty of choice thanks to the array of footpaths leading from your doorstep. Follow the Offa’s Dyke trail 12 miles away, soak up some history at Stokesay Castle 14.5 miles away, and delight your taste buds with a visit to Ludlow 22.5 miles away. The village of Clun 4.5 miles away has a wealth of shops, eateries and interesting buildings to marvel at, and the ancient packhorse bridge is a sight to behold too.

The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. It is set in beautiful countryside suitable for walking holidays. If you are looking for a "get away from it all" type of break, the cottage is perfect. As others have remarked, a small wardrobe in each bedroom would be useful.

Really comfortable and cosy barn conversion in a very peaceful, rural location. Well equipped and furnished to a high standard with large comfortable beds. Lots of good walking and pubs in the area but take care on checking pub opening times at lunchtime and midweek as many are reducing their hours. Would definitely stay again.
