A beautiful, comfortable, well-equipped house ideal for a family holiday. The outside seating area is a quiet spot to relax away from the busy town centre. Both the amazing beaches and the town centre are within reasonable walking distance.

Its a nice sized house for what we needed. It does need some updating though I feel but plenty of bathrooms so no sharing needed.

Overall I would say this is a great house. Its a good location for beaches and the town. The house is nice and big, well equipped and homely, lots of extras like welcome basket, soaps, towels. Garden/courtyard is nice little sun trap and the washing line was handy, also good to have a bbq. Easy walk down to Sainsburys, cafes and shops, and also to Read moreFistral and Towan beaches so pretty much everything you want in a Newquay holiday base. Walk back up is a gentle uphill compared to a previous location we stayed in! Downside is the parking to the rear. The space is very small and feels a little vulnerable but you can try for a street space or the local car parks are not far away and relatively cheap. Also no washing machine as advertised which wasnt a dealbreaker but there is a laundrette in walking distance if you needed it. Hide

This is our second stay at Calmynsy and again it it was wonderful. The house is ideally located in Newquay, is very well stocked, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and may even come back for a third time in the future. Its a real home from home and the perfect location in Newquay just outside of town via short walk (so just far enouRead moregh away from the crowds and noise) but not too far from anything at all. Its a lovely 5 minute walk to Fistral Beach which we love. Hide
