Ease into a laidback way of life at this rural retreat in West Wales, where you can take time to appreciate nature at its best. This cosy traditional holiday cottage, set in a large courtyard of similar properties, is ideal for couples or a family with two canine companions. The glittering Cardigan Bay coastline will draw you in with its long sandy beaches, craggy coves and harbourside fishing villages.

Inside this semi-detached converted barn, you’ll find a spacious kitchen that has everything you need to rustle up hearty Welsh breakfasts, delicious dinners and a few special doggy treats too. Tuck into meals together around the dining table in the living room while your contented canines sleep off their dinner, or take social occasions outside to the enclosed courtyard to dine alfresco on a warm evening. Later, catch a movie on the Smart TV before heading upstairs to bed after a tiring but rewarding day. There’s a comfortable king-size room and a twin room that’s ideal for children.

Stride out on fantastic walks in the Welsh countryside, either straight from your doorstep or along the woodland trails of Brechfa Forest (9 miles). Get some fresh sea air with a trip to the West Wales coast, which is within 15 miles of the property. Former smugglers’ cove, Cwmtydu is dog-friendly all year round and a great place to spot seal pups in autumn. Just up the coast in New Quay, embark on a dolphin-spotting cruise with your intrepid canine seafarers or follow the Dylan Thomas Trail, which might just inspire you to compose some prose of your own!

Lovely cottage with great facilities and comfy beds in a quiet location. Nice riverside and moorland walks a short drive away. Great for road cycling, with MTB and gravel cycling trails in the forests nearby ... as well as bridleways and ancient droveways too, up in the moors and high country. We loved our stay at the cottage it had everything we needed for 2 weeks - super comfy , clean and tidy hot tub was a hit (Just as a side note the parking for the stables is through a bit of a tight gap between the buildings as they are close together - we have a qashqai and was able to fit but if other residents park awkwardly it was difficult to Read moreswing in - if you had a bigger car it may prove a bit more difficult - however the forecourt of the building seems to have other parking options ) Hide

This place is stunning. We were originally going to book the Dairy but when we came to make the actual booking, this was booked so we opted for the Stables. Everything and I mean everything was thought of. We didn't cook but if we had wanted to, the kitchen had everything. Plenty of towels and essentials are provided. I couldn't pick anything amissRead more. The location is stunning, what us city folk would call completely remote but the drives to get to places are stunning! Hide

A lovely cottage in a very quiet rural location. We had a great time here where we could relax with our dogs. The availability of the dog exercise field was a welcome bonus and well used. Cottage had all the facilities we could want with a lovely hot tub too. Highly recommended.

A very welcoming home from home, extremely comfortable and peaceful. Hot tub and dog field are wonderful extras and meant we only left the property a couple of times during the week. Views are incredible and night skies stunning.
