Sitting in a quaint complex of properties, this former-woolen mill is surrounded by beautiful gardens that have a serene stream flowing through them. Sleeping five people over three bedrooms and welcoming one canine companion, this three-storey stone cottage is perfect for families or groups of friends who want to escape to the country to relax and unwind together. During the day, enjoy scenic strolls with your pup at Cenarth Falls, and in the evening come home to relax with a glass of wine on the property’s pretty patio.
Step inside and you'll find plenty of pretty period features and lots of natural light that together create an unmistakably welcoming ambience. Take a moment to make yourself at home in front of the electric coal-effect fire in the lounge with your canine companion before heading to the modern kitchen/diner to show off your culinary skills. Gather everyone around the dining table to enjoy a meal along with the beautiful views over the garden. Or head outside and have the perfect al fresco dining experience on the patio while watching the stream flow by. As the day comes to a close, there are three lovely bedrooms to choose from – two are accessed via an open staircase to the first floor, and there’s one more on the second floor.
Your pup is sure to enjoy walkies at Cenarth Falls (7 miles). The river there is famous for its salmon-leap and it’s a spectacular sight at full-flood. Afterwards, take a break at the dog-friendly cafe and check out the antique shop. Alternatively, head into the historic market town of Newcastle Emlyn (4.5 miles) for the day. Take your pup for a stroll along the river and stop off for lunch in one of the town’s welcoming dog-friendly pubs.
