Aberaeron has two beaches on either side of its attractive harbour. While seasonal restrictions apply on South Beach, dogs are free to bound around and dig holes in the sand on North Beach. Walk part of the Wales Coast Path from Aberaeron to Aberystwyth (16 miles) or sniff out some culture on the famous Dylan Thomas Trail around New Quay. The town’s Harbour Beach (8 miles) is dog-friendly all year round, while boat trips offer you and your hairy chums the chance to spot dolphins frolicking in the bay.
