Set in its own enclosed gardens, this wonderful stone cottage offers cosy accommodation for families and friends, including furry ones, to enjoy a holiday exploring the Pembrokeshire coast. Only a mile from the picturesque city of St Davids with its cathedral, art gallery and shops, this is the perfect location to discover the coast and countryside of the area. Catch a boat to Ramsay Island, browse the craft shops and harbour in Solva or step onto the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for a bracing walk.

Bursting with traditional features, your charming cottage offers stylish accommodation and a garden overlooking the harbour. The open-plan lounge/diner is an inviting space where your hound can stretch out in front of the wood burner as you relax with a good book. Upstairs are three king-sized bedrooms and a large family bathroom. Please note, one of the king-size beds is accessed via a box step and can only be accessed from one side. Make sure you pack your pup’s favourite bedding, so they get a good night’s sleep too. Your hound will enjoy exploring the large garden where you can sit with a drink and enjoy the views across the harbour.

With a shingle beach within walking distance and the glorious golden sands of Whitesands Bay a short drive, you can enjoy splashing in the surf with your four-legged friend. Step onto 600 million-year-old rocks as you explore the Treginnis Peninsula on a circular walk, taking in spectacular views of Skomer Island and Ramsey Island. Venture further afield to Fishguard (16 miles) where you will find the Gwaun Valley offering idyllic walks through unspoilt countryside. Browse the shops in the ancient town of Haverfordwest (17 miles) and enjoy a riverbank walk to discover the ruined Augustinian Priory on the west bank.

We enjoyed our week at Y Bwthyn, Rhos y Cribed. House was clean but very basic, certainly not 5 stars as rated.

Very comfortable cottage, ideally situated for the coastal path and St Davids. Welcome pack was thoughtful. Beds and linen especially good.

Very tastefully and characterfully laid out. Especially with the underfloor heating, making the cottage warm and cosy!

We have had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful, peaceful cottage. The views from the house are breathtaking and we regularly enjoyed wallking down to the harbour for ice creams or coffee and exploring the gorgeous beaches dotted along the coastal path.
