It was an absolute pleasure staying here and I would recommend it to anyone, St austell is a place I know very well as I lived here over twenty years ago and as I can see very little has changed, hope to be back again soon!!!.

This is our fourth trip to Charlestown. This property is in a great convenient location. As someone else pointed out it maybe more suited to a couple with children rather than 4 adults. The loft room is a good size but the bed is very low and if made up as twin beds they are narrow. . The living room is crying out for a corner sofa or another comRead morefy chair as its a bit tight for 3 adults on the sofa and only one other comfy chair considering the great size of the room. Luckily the weather was great so we only used this early mornings and late evenings. Well equipped kitchen with welcome basket and even ice made up in the freezer. A good selection of games. Extra free parking on the road, we always found a space. Negatives were the very late check in of 5pm, our previous stays have been 3pm. No hairdryer and hard pillows. If you like somewhere to sit and dry your hair/get ready pick another property. The walk to Carolyn Bay is lovely they have a beach bar, music and food stalls. All of the restaurants in Charlestown were excellent. Hide

The property is great. Super clean and well resourced, Only a short walk down to the harbour where there were plenty of places to eat. The information about the property and the area we received, was very useful.

Great little cottage in a great location. Charlestown is a wonderful place. I was by myself so space no issue, might be a bit little for a party size of more than 2 - unless you're going to be out all day. Beware of slow internet.
