The country-style kitchen/diner beckons with its quaint charm and has all you need to whip up a hearty meal. Upstairs, you’ll find two bedrooms – a spacious double room boasting lovely views over the Dales, and a cosy single room with an additional pull-out single bed. The family bathroom, adorned with a shower over the bath, ensures a refreshing start or end to your day. Venture outside to the front of the cottage, and a small patio area awaits, complete with seating so you can sip on a morning brew and drink in the beautiful surroundings.

Embark on a short drive to Malham Cove (14 miles), a dramatic limestone formation with a towering cliff face, where the Malham Cove Landscape Trail is sure to set tails wagging. Visit Kilnsey Park (5.5 miles) and let your dog lead the way, while you try rock climbing at Kilnsey Crag. Small cottage with small courtyard at the front, good when the sunshines in the morning. Good location for walking, north up Hebden Gill to the old lead mines or south to the River Wharfe for walks along the Dales Way to Burnsall or south to Grassington.

Well located, warm old fashioned cottage and well equipped. The beds were comfortable but the settees have seen better days. The cottage was clean on arrival.

Perfect. Soul cleansing, calming. The cottage is a small piece of joy in the middle of the Dales. Turn left out of the cottage and within a few metres youre walking up Hebden Gill. Its fitted out wonderfully with good quality, stylish but country furniture. (And thank you for the sweet Christmas decorations. It looked so lovely).

We enjoyed our time at the cottage. No enclosed garden was an issue for my little Frenchie during the night. Nice very quiet location, easy drive to Grassington. Great Pub 2 minutes walk away, the food is excellent.

Whisper cottage is gorgeous! Perfect for a couple and 1 child, though a bit of a squeeze if you wanted to use the pull-out bed for child 2. Very dog friendly, with beautiful walks on the doorstep, and a lovely village tearoom and pub within 5 minutes walk max. The cottage itself is super cosy and well equipped. We loved it!
