After a day on the beach, relax in the lounge with the Smart TV on while the pups snooze by the wood burner. Take turns to cook in the well-appointed kitchen and enjoy meals together in the spacious dining room, then challenge each other to a game of table tennis in the utility/games room. There’s a shower room downstairs, handy for sandy returns from the beach, then it’s up to bed in the gorgeous bedrooms: a spacious king/twin, and a cosy king in relaxing shades for a great night’s sleep, both have TVs for watching in bed, there’s also a funky family bathroom. Let your canine friends explore the enclosed garden, accessed via the French doors in the lounge, while you light the BBQ with a cool drink in your hand on the patio.
Grab the leads and head to the beach (0.5 miles) to give the pups a run and a paddle, canines are welcome on some of the beach all year. Pop into Instow to stock up on bits, have a drink at the pubs, and go out for dinner (0.5 miles). Hop on a ferry (salty sea dogs welcome) across the river to Appledore (5 miles by car) to explore the pretty village and quayside. Go surfing off Westward Ho! beach (5 miles), a 2-mile stretch of golden sands where you can walk the pups on the north end.
