So enjoyed our 4 night stay in this lovely lodge. Everything was provided for and the beds were so comfy. The views were fantastic and the tub was the icing on the cake. Sadly it rained all week so we were limited in what we could do but it was a relaxing break away which was much needed. A lovely comfortable place to stay, very dark at night great for looking skywards at the stars from the balcony, which during the day was perfect for reading or having a coffee. Lovely lodge, very peaceful location, although we expected to be one of a few! Quite shocked to find we were number 53! At least we were on the end of a row of three. Beds very comfortable, and very nicely decorated.

The lay out of the cottage was lovely the beds are comfortable having wifi was good. The showers were not great as in the on-suite the water spilled on the bathroom floor. What a fantastic base to explore the North Devon coast. We visited knowing that the coast was a 45 minute away. Very quiet relaxing location. The house was very comfortable. Dead flies around window inside & out. Grass not cut, parasol damaged, balcony glass and flooring dirty. Tap came undone in the kitchen and water went just everywhere. Shower put more water on the floor than in the shower itself. Floor was rotten around the base of the shower. Not worth any where near the cost we paid, this is low budget.

We used the cottage as a base and travelled out each day. It is a lovely quite location and it was nice to be woken by birds and nature instead of traffic and seagulls. Everything was comfy and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony for the evening after some time spent in the hot tub. Parking is easy and close by.

This is a beautiful lodge. We stayed as a family and loved it. The large hot tub is off to the side and a great asset. The pool is so close and was generally empty. It is remote location, which is a great hideaway. Be prepared to drive a while if you want to go anywhere. We had a few days out and few days relaxing there. Great basics are in the lodRead morege/kitchen. Lounge has a huge tv upstairs. Id recommend taking toilet roll, washing up materials, bin bags and foil/oil if cooking. Hide
