No need to leave the hound at home when staying at this stylish seaside cottage that comes complete with ocean views and an enclosed garden. It’s a beautiful and perfect retreat for couples or a family to discover the delights of Newquay alongside their ever-faithful canine friend.

Step inside this light and airy home and feel instantly at ease amongst neutral tones, contemporary furniture and handpicked artwork in this well-presented space. The fully-equipped kitchen/diner is the sociable hub of the house, where guests can gather around the dining table to share a delicious meal or plan upcoming activities. Unwind in the living room on the sumptuous sofa and admire the sea views while Rover lounges by your side, or head outside for a game of fetch followed by an al fresco dinner making the most of the raised deck's outdoor seating area and BBQ on a warm summer evening. With the rest of the garden laid to lawn and fully enclosed, you can let your four-pawed pal explore to their heart's content. At the end of the day, climb the stairs and take a relaxing soak in the sleek family bathroom's tub, then head to bed in one of two inviting bedrooms, with the master bedroom offering more of those fabulous coastal views.

The sweeping shoreline of Fistral Bay lies 350 metres from your door. This most prized of Cornish beaches has no seasonal restriction on canine companions, so you and Fido can frolic on its golden sands from dawn to dusk year-round. For walkies to get tails wagging, join the South West Coast Path, 300 metres away, and sniff out spectacular cliff-top scenery along with glorious sunset viewpoints as you ramble its undulating course. After all that exercise you will be in need of refreshment and, fortunately, the proprietors of Newquay’s many fine establishments know how important your canine friends are to you. Discover a huge range of dog-friendly cafes, pubs and restaurants, and there’s even a pizzeria that has created a special doggy pizza! For further pup-positive ideas, take a ride on a steam train at Lappa Valley Railway (5.5 miles), tour the Healey’s Cyder brewery (9 miles) or visit the Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre (7.5 miles).

The property is very convenient for Fistral beach, It is clean and comfortable and well equipped. Parking in right on site and the garden is safe for children or a dog. Would need a car to get to the shops as there are none nearby. There are many beautiful beaches within a short drive away. Overall a great property.

Nice property and good location! Beach cannot be accessed directly across the road as the Golf Course runs along that side. Quite a few steps down to the beach (and back up) so wouldnt suit everyone. Parking is a bonus as is the little garden if you have a dog. The drilling and general building noise from the development across the road is a bit ofRead more a nuisance but does depend on how much time you intend to spend at the property. Hide

Lovely cottage in a great location. The property was well equipped and very comfortable. Just one piece of advice: a determined dog can escape as the garden wall is low in places and the hedge above the wall has some gaps. Future dog owning renters may need to consider bringing a tether lead for peace of mind.
