Located in the pretty seaside village of Combe Martin, this beautifully presented cottage is the perfect base for a couple or a family, and up to three furry friends, to explore the delights of coastal North Devon. Take the lead to adventure in Exmoor National Park, sniff out traditional seaside fun on the region's award-winning beaches and have a ball discovering pretty villages or bustling market towns nestled amongst the hills and coastline.

With a skilful blend of contemporary finishes alongside country cottage features such as wooden roof beams and an inglenook fireplace, you will feel right at home in this stylish cottage. Enter into the open-plan living space with comfortable sofa seating, a cosy wood burner and plenty of space for social dining. To the rear of the property, a sleek modern kitchen will make meal times a breeze or choose to cook outside on the deck's charcoal BBQ. At the top of the garden is a handy office space where those who need to stay in the loop can work while Fido explores the safely enclosed lawn. When it comes time to head to bed or basket, an inviting bedroom with a plush king-size bed awaits, alongside a twin bedroom for the children.

The golden sands of Combe Martin beach are just under a mile from your door, offering traditional seaside fun along with kayak and paddleboard hire. Though dogs are not allowed on this beach during the summer months, the village boasts two other beaches, Newberry and Wild Pear, both of which give unrestricted year-round access to our four-legged friends. The South West Coast Path passes through Combe Martin, leading the way to some spectacular cliff-top scenery that’s sure to get tails wagging when you meet other hounds along the way. The village is located within Exmoor National Park, a land of dramatically varied landscapes, from the wind-swept high tors to wooded river valleys and delightful traditional villages, all of which Rover is welcome to join you in discovering.

This cottaged suited us perfectly for the week. Its very dog friendly with lots of welcoming touches for the dogs and us. All facilities are of a good standard. The garden is well enclosed with a sun-trap dining table. Its a little steep out there but suited us fine. Combe Martin itself is a bit drab but is well situated for exploring N. Devon.
