There’s no better welcome for weary walking muscles and tired paws than the roaring open fire in the homely lounge; your canine companion won’t be able to resist dozing on the hearth as you put your feet up on the comfortable sofa. Tame the growl of hungry tummies by whipping up some locally sourced treats in the contemporary cottage-style kitchen and enjoy your efforts with the whole pack in the light and bright dining room. End a busy day by unwinding in the tub full of bubbles while overlooking the rolling fields in the bathroom upstairs before retiring to either the king-size or super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made into 2’6" twins). Your four-legged friend will have a ball on the lawn in the enclosed garden and enjoy the peaceful country sounds.

A lovely, warm and welcoming cottage in a stunning location. Izabelle was a lovely host. The welcome basket was such a nice touch, it even included a little something for my pup. If you want to have nature on your doorstep, this is the place. Deer and squirrels wander past, and red kites are common. The cottage was well equipped making life straightforward in the kitchen and the central heating system was easy to operate ensuring that the cottage was just warm enough. However, the real attraction was the location with no other house in view. Set within an attractive garden and with walks straight from the door it provided many options for picnRead moreics and taking life at a slower pace. I look forward to returning in the not too distant future and explore some of the walks in the Wolds. Hide
