Enjoy a variety of independent shops, restaurants, and dog-friendly pubs in the town, or take a trip on the Lappa Valley Steam Railway (6 miles), which takes guests on a trip through the surrounding woodland. Alternatively, take a walk along the South West Coast Path, which winds along the rugged coastline and offers up superb views.
