Tucked in a fabulous location for padding across golden sands and sniffing for adventure along the dramatic North Devon coastline, this charming cottage is a must for families and small groups. Sleeping four humans and two hounds, the comfortable property has ample space for a basket and offers a private outdoor space for all the summer BBQs you could wish for. On chilly months, it is a sanctuary for hot chocolate and homemade cake, best enjoyed after a scenic scramble across the surrounding countryside.

 

Compact yet stylish, the property has everything you need for your stay and features handy wooden flooring that’s easy to wipe clean, ideal for sandy paws! Head up the steps and prepare delicious meals in the kitchen ready to dine around the table, or sizzle up a storm outside on the BBQ whilst Fido plays. Stairs lead up to the bedrooms, one of which consists of a delightful king-size bed and a second cosy single bedroom. Completing the property is a shower room with a large shower. Private off-road parking is available for two cars.

 

The spectacular shores of Woolacombe are easily reached within 6 miles, and your waggy-tailed companion is welcome to play on the beach out of season. There are restrictions in place between May and October, but the sand and shingle beach surrounding Hele Bay, 3.5 miles away, welcomes furry visitors all year round. If you are feeling energetic, take a scenic drive to Morthoe, 5.5 miles away, and treat the pack to ice cream before ascending the 4-mile cliff-top trail that leads to Lee, a simply stunning rocky beach nestled between woodland-studded hills. There is a friendly pub that can be found by following a little track past a trickling stream and fields.

Butterfly Annexe is wonderful. The inside space is open plan and socialable. The bedrooms are very comfortable too. The garden is secure for the dogs and the hot tub is perfect to sit in, in the sunshine. Thank you, we can't wait to return!

The Butterfly Annexe is in a beautiful location, convenient for all the local towns and villages. The property is very well presented and has everything you could ask for. A luxury holiday home

Lovely location and very well equipped with high end products. Stairs are extremely steep and deep so would be an accessibility issue for some people. Is on busy road but once inside it's quiet. WiFi drops out frequently so may not be reliable for some.
