Live a life of luxury in this gorgeous property, on the edge of the pretty village of Braunton. The stylish accommodation sleeps eight guests and one dog, making it perfect for a seaside getaway with your nearest and dearest. Just 3 miles away you’ll find Saunton Sands; undeniably one of the country’s most picturesque beaches, with over 3 miles of golden sand backed by the fascinating biosphere of Braunton Burrows. You’ll also have easy access to the traffic-free Tarka Trail, with its fabulous views over the estuary.

This stylish gated property is brimming with luxurious touches to make your stay extra special, such as the outdoor rain shower for after a trip to the beach and the relaxing hot tub. The double aspect lounge is a bright and modern space. After a fun day of exploring, browse through Netflix for a good film to watch and sink into the comfy sofas, with Rover curled at your feet. There’s also a cosy snug, which is a great place for the woofer to chill out if it’s all a bit too hectic in the main living areas. The handy utility/drying room is ideal for storing all your dog-walking gear. Outside, the garden wraps around the property and there’s a beautiful wooden bar/summer house, meaning you can socialise long into the night.

If you’re into photography, head to Saunton Sands at low tide and get some epic shots of the waggy-tailed one chasing his reflection on the glassy sand. Alternatively, drive down the toll road towards Crow Point (3.5 miles away), which is dog friendly all year. You can do a fantastic circular walk which encompasses shipwrecks, sand dunes, boardwalks and stunning views towards Lundy Island. Try to catch it during ‘golden hour’, just before sunset, for truly breathtaking scenery.

House has everything you could think of. It's in a lovely quiet spot and the gated property feels very safe. Rooms are massive and just have everything you need. House was exceptionally clean. Hot tub was lovely.

We had an amazing Bank Holiday 4 day break. Westlands was the ideal location for all our family 6 adults, 2 very young children and 2 dogs. The house was superb and the garden , courtyard and lounging area was fabulous and so secure for the dogs. The house had everything and was very luxurious l, the beds were so comfortable too. Great house, super location for North Devon exploring but enough at hose to keep everyone occupied as well. Nice private space and well looked after whilst we were there - even came everyday to clear leaves! Everything you need for a great family holiday.

We were so lucky that the first week in April was wall to wall sunshine. We made the most of the well stocked and super clean house as well as the fantastic local beaches and days out. The location on the tarka trail meant it was very quiet and we loved that. Really enjoyed Westlands as it is very spacious and clean also nice quiet location right next to the Tarka trail, which is ideal for walking the dog or a stroll into Braunton. Great property. It was my husbands birthday and they left a banner, balloons and a card, it was a lovely touch. The welcome hamper was amazing and much appreciated. The house was clean and comfortable. It was a home away from home and would highly recommend 5*

Nice location on the Tarka trail and a short walk from Braunton. This cottage provided a perfect base for 8 of us (6 adults and 2 kids) to explore local beaches and enjoy some late season surfing!

A superb property with generous sleeping accommodation. Ideal for us with three couples and children aged 9,5,2. Safe, enclosed, well-equipped. Huge TV, with others upstairs. Plenty of space for dining. Large yard for kids to run/play. Adjacent to cycle path which we used a lot to get to cafe, restaurant, tesco, or just to walk. Great place for dogRead mores - enclosed space, but easy walk from house for routine exercise. Main beach attractions ban dogs, but many other places to go with them. Super! Hide

A lovely house for a family weekend away. Very well equipped. Perfectly located for all the attractions in the area. Wed definitely stay at Westlands again.
