This fisherman’s cottage has a rustic charm that you’ll love, and you can book next door too, if you need a couple more rooms, and use the adjoining doorway. You are in the hub of Brixham, buzzing with colourful character and eclectic facilities. Dog walks from the door are perfect for sniffing out treats, cream teas and local ice cream. There are several excellent beaches close by for chasing balls, photo bombing and generally going barking mad!

This three-storey terraced cottage sits in the heart of the authentic fishing village and the interior beautifully combines white walls, exposed beams and cosy country comforts. The lounge is on the ground floor and is the place to relax, with the pups curled up on their favourite blanket as you watch a good movie or read a book. The first floor houses the master bedroom and bright kitchen/diner – perfect for morning tea on tap. At the top of the house are the second bedroom and shower room with pretty views of the village and harbour. Parking is either roadside or in the public car park nearby.

There is a great choice of coastal walks with the South West Coast Path a few minutes away. The dogs will love the choice of beaches, less than a mile away, with space to run and catch some waves. St Mary’s Bay is the place to be a sociable hound and Fishcombe Cove is beautifully secluded and perfect for doggie paddling. Shoalstone is a fabulous family beach with no canine restrictions, a great saltwater pool for safe swimming and a cafe. If retail therapy is your thing, the gorgeous tree-lined town of Torquay is just 8.5 miles away.

  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Brixham do not have private parking. However, alternative parking is available in local carparks

In the right place for everything. Off loading at the front of the cottage is a little difficult, but it can be done. Fully equipped cottage. Shower downstairs is brilliant.

We had a lovely stay here. Absolutely amazing location and price. Cant park outside but we didnt have much luggage so walked with it from short stay car park, took 5 minutes! House is lovely and quirky with great kitchen and dining room on first floor. Lovely comfortable rooms and 2 very nice bathrooms with wonderful hot showers and a bathtub. CantRead more fault our stay. Other review say about road noise but I can honestly say it never disturbed my sleep. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you so much Hide

Lovely location very convenient but the stairs were very steep and had a few near misses. Would have felt safer if they were enclosed. Double room was very comfortable, beautiful bed. Shower upstairs was lovely. Thank you

The location of the property was fantastic. You are a 1 minute walk from the harbour. However, if you have any mobility issues the stairs in this property would probably not be suitable. The house had everything you need for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were very functional. Good value for money, very clean and comfortable. The road outside was much busier than expected and there is no outside space at all. However, the location is excellent and wonderfully convenient for all Brixham has to offer. We would highly recommend The Guardhouse cafe at Berry Head - they do the best cream tea! Lovely position a minutes walk from the shops and the harbour. Lots of room. Loading and unloading the car is difficult as is parking.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage just before Easter bank holiday weekend. Bedrooms are very comfortable, great to have two bathrooms. All lovely and clean. Location is amazing. Beautiful harbour. Great choice of bars and restaurants, all dog friendly - loved Olive and Liberty. Small coop and Tesco close by. Would recommend a walk over to Read moreChurston Cove and longer walk up to Berry Head. Would definitely stay at this cottage again. Hide

The house is in an ideal location with easy access to local pubs and restaurants. Parking was easy as we organised direct through Torbay Council, always plenty of room and no issues. Lovely few days in a well equipped house and super bed. All in all a very relaxing break

Neat, clean, tidy and compact. Has everything you need for a short break. Slightly unusual layout - but you adjust quickly, and the stairs are very steep - not for those that struggle. Parking is an issue (there is none locally) so park further up King Street in the loading bay when arriving / departing, we found spaces in streets higher up in townRead more for overnight - to avoid overnight parking charges. That it is so close to the harbour is a massive plus. Overall, loved it and would recommend! Hide

Cottage is in a great location for Brixham town centre and harbour, parking is a problem as nearest car park 15-20 minutes away.Cottage layout could be a problem as stairs steep and narrow and bathrooms top floor and bottom floor. Kitchen and showers very good bed very comfortable.
